Commercial Administrator

The Commercial Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Superheat contractual obligations while promoting the best interests of the company. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, risk analysis, and the ability to establish support for and from other departments. With workloads varying in different departments, this position will also support the Finance and Project Management departments and the company’s commercial processes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review customer contracts and ensure compliance with all requirements.
- Liaise between departments to facilitate information transactions in support of client or vendor requests.
- Support the Project Controls Coordinator in completing customer prequalification’s in an accurate and timely manner.
- Share in the administration of 3rd party qualification sites.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with all Superheat policies and programs.
- Arrange bonds and bond releases as required.
- Project administration, including data entry, updating project requirements, accounting tasks.
- Review and adhere to project specific billing requirements identified in the Commercial Hub.
- Review and understand T&C's in MSA agreements and PO's.
- Task creation and management for new project planning and preparation.
- Create projects and WBS when required.
- Post daily updates of hours, expenses, and equipment, consumables and fee journals.
- Understand client entry systems and perform system entry as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Adobe, and telephone.
- Team oriented, resourceful, problem solver, self starter.
- Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Work Experience and Education Requirements
- Previous experience in contract administration, finance, or project administration.
- Experience with Field Glass, Open Invoice and Maximo.
- Post-secondary education in business, accounting or legal.
