**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team at Mint Hair Lounge. As a Salon Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our clients. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the beauty industry and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced salon environment. You will assist stylists and contribute to the overall success of the salon while providing exceptional customer service.

**Duties**
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Assist stylists with various tasks, including preparing clients for services, shampooing hair, and providing basic hair styling support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including sanitizing tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment.
- Light front desk responsibilities such as helping answering phone calls, and checking out clients.
- Promote salon services and products through effective upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and drive sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is a plus, along with a willingness to learn more about the beauty industry.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation standards.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere.
