**North Star Woodbridge** has a current opening for a **Maintenance Technician** to work within their Maintenance department, in Woodbridge Ontario. You will be partnered with a team of Engineers and Manufacturing Staff to help support the daily activities associated with sustaining a thriving Door manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, installing or dismantling machinery and equipment; according to company initiatives. In addition to repairing and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, this position may require diagnosing and solving electrical issues with plant equipment. This position is **Straight Days; Monday to Friday,** **however shift flexibility is required for this role;** in order to meet production demand and important deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure work performed adheres to relevant safety regulations, codes and specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Answer break down calls, troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures
- Working at heights -Skyjack, Boom Lift
- Identify and report safety hazards
- All tools required will be supplied by North Star
- Other duties as assigned by management
