Server/waiter

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage payments through the POS system.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is a plus.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.50-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
