**Main Functions**

Install and service a wide variety of exterior prefabricated products such as aluminum composite panels, cementitious panels and/or siding, foam insulated metal panels, corrugated cladding and wood composite panels and/or siding, at commercial or institutional properties.

**Reports to**:
Superintendent

**Main duties**:
The Installers and servicers perform the following duties:

- Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Install air/vapor membrane to wall surfaces using rollers and applicators
- Measure, cut and install z-bar sub-girts using hand and power tools to wall surfaces
- Install, repair and service exterior prefabricated products such as siding and panels using hand and power tools.
- Deal with other trade schedules and management requests.
- Load and unload material to and from site

**Employment requirements**:

- No education requirements
- Obey all on-site and company safety requirements in accordance to OH&S Act and Regulations
- Participate in the company safety culture by attending tail gate meetings and other such activities required
- Must be fit to perform physical work and to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Demonstrate team playing attitude, must be punctual and proficient in spoken English
- A driver's license may be required

**Additional information**:

- Product specific training provided on-site
- Previous work experience installing building envelope products an asset
- Work performed at various project locations in the **Edmonton area**
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Must own safety steel toed boots
- skilled labourer: $18 - $35
- Metal Cladders: $22 - $35

**Working Conditions**:

- Workdays are Monday to Fridays, starting at 7 am, for 9 hours minimum
- 1 hour lunch break (0.5 hour of which is paid)
- May be required to work overtime
- Frequent exposure to excessive noise, dirt and other possible dangers
- Fast paced environment, attention to details an asset
- Will be required to work in the winter cold and summer heat

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
