- Relocate personnel to eliminate bottlenecks and increase productivity where necessary.
- Responsible for directive workforce to meet workload to achieve all required functions before the end of shift. Hands on back up of shift activities to ensure all shift responsibilities are completed daily.
- Assist the shift supervisor in maintaining a variety of records, files, and reports, and make sure that all records are properly maintained.
- Undertake various clerical duties, including preparing manifests, clearing no loads, transferring loads, and completing other tasks assigned by the shift supervisor.
- Report problems to Warehouse Supervisor.
- Resolve problems associated with reception (Search for products or quantities on purchase orders).
- Enter purchase orders in Alpha and also make second entries on incomplete purchase orders.
- Ensure cooperation from suppliers and carriers is in line with Staples policies.
- Organize the pickup and transport of certain shipments including transfers between warehouses, shipments by boat and shipments by plane.
- Establish delivery schedules for the goods to be received.
- Retrieve and classify documents for accounts payable and enter debit notes for missing or excess quantities.
- Take charge of accounts payable requests and from the purchasing department and carry out appropriate research.
- Participate in daily calls with Staples Delivery Operations and third-party carriers, by analyzing the MOSD report for shortages.
- Research all errors (POA) reported, compile information and present to Supervisors.

- Working knowledge of warehouse Operations.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
