Guelph's own Market Fresh is looking for a Gourmet to Go associate to join our growing business.

Here's a little about us: Since 2000 we have prided ourselves on bringing our customers wholesome fresh and local gourmet food.

We're an independent family-run business with a great team of people who love food and community as much as we do. Our butcher shop, bakery, deli, green grocer and kitchen all specialize in sourcing and creating delicious eats and treats that showcase the best of the region and season. We're located in the heart of downtown Guelph. We are looking for a motivated individual with at least 1 year of serving experience in a similar role.

- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift, and carry heavy materials

**Job responsibilities for Gourmet to Go**
- Serve customers; coffee, hot table, pizza, sandwiches
- Create and cook pizzas as required by demand
- Use the espresso machine and coffee machine when required
- Grill wraps and sandwiches
- Learn the Bizerba and POS systems
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the department
- Other duties as assigned by Store Manager and/or Owners

**Work Conditions**
- Interaction with customers, employees, management
- Extended periods of standing
- Lifting, moving, manipulating objects up to 25 lbs
- Flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
