**Summary of Role**

The Coordinator, Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring Sonora Food's quality system is executed effectively across the organization thorugh the coordination and administration of quality functions and programs.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and schedule QA tasks.
- Verify QA forms and ensure they are filed and retained according to Company specifications.
- Review shift reports and follow up/troubleshoot, including reporting on OPS call.
- Process and maintain holds, risk assessment, follow-ups and closure disposition.
- Document control.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis for all internal and external complaints.
- Create and analyse QA data trends.
- HACCP support (meeting minutes and meeting preparations), including taking minutes.
- Assist the QA Manager in Internal and External Audits.
- Provide quality and food safety training for new hires.
- Schedule Food Safety Training and maintain records in Alchemy Software.
- Provide leadership to the department during Manager’s absence.
- Assist Quality Manager with QA projects and initiatives.
- Provide backup support to the QA Technicians as required.
- Other duties as required.

**Education, Training and Skills**
- University degree in a relative field.
- Minimum 2 years’ QA experience in food manufacturing.
- Experience with GFSI Standards (FSSC 22000 preferred).
- Previous HACCP team experience is strongly required.
- Good knowledge of quality assurance principles, statistical process control and sanitation.
- Good understanding of GMPs and HACCP.
- Strong proficiency in MSOffice (specifically Excel).
- Ability to multitask as well as prioritize tasks.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
- Possess a high level of critical thinking.Experience in Root Cause Analysis techniques.
