**QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR PERMANENT FULL-TIME**

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS_**_
- **
- Provide hands-on follow-up with appropriate paperwork and physical samples to ensure that all production meets with the quality standards of Mother Parkers and the specific needs of the customer.
- Supply samples for Lab testing, customer samples, external lab testing and retained storage.
- Notify appropriate individuals immediately when substandard products are discovered
- Complete root cause and corrective action reports on products that are out of specification and due to customer complaints
- Communicate to Operations Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor when compliance deviations are found.
- Taste test allied products
- Inspect packaging material as delivered against specification.
- Audit of Quality systems
- Complete and maintain customer specifications and item notes.
- Complete and maintain customer websites.
- Review and approve certificates of analysis.
- Support QA supervisor with 3rd party audits (including SQF, Silliker, OCIA, ect).
- Kosher updating/maintaining websites, submit products for approval and Rabbi inspection.
- Complete Hold and GMP trend analysis.
- Complete New Hire and Annual Quality training GMP, Food Security, Allergens, Organics
- Understand, support and comply with all food safety and quality policies such as SQF Policy, Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), Hygiene, Allergen, Organic, NHP and Food Security.Responsible to report food safety problems and/or quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate actions

**_ SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS_**:

- Post-Secondary Food Science Education required (University Degree and/or College Diploma/Certificate)
- HACCP Training for example GFTC
- Internal Auditing experience
- Third Party Audit experience
- Superior GMP knowledge
- Understanding of Food Allergens and Organics
- SQF Training would be an asset
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent Verbal, Written and Interpersonal communication skills
- Computer literate: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Explorer, Lotus Notes & BPCS
