**Description**

Our Client is seeking one (1) Business Intelligence Analyst Resource with a broad-based background of technical experience and deep technical expertise in data management principles, business intelligence tools, and data architectural methodologies. As a data-driven organization, our Client leverages advanced analytics and business intelligence to enhance decision-making and drive operational excellence. The Business Intelligence Analyst role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic objectives and digital transformation goals.

The Resource will be required to work and be located full-time on site in Regina, Saskatchewan, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Minimum 10 years of experience (within the last 15 years) working within modern data management principles, in a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Engineering, Data Sciences or a related discipline, or minimum 10 years of related work experience.
- MUST be able to work and be located full-time in Regina, Saskatchewan, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

- Expert level communicator (ability to communicate and present effectively, create effective tailored content.)
- Experience working closely with stakeholders to guide them from start to finish through the solutioning process and into final delivery.
- Experience designing and implementing technology solutions that enable an organization to achieve its digital transformation goals.
- Experience in identifying potential technical risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the success of projects.
- Canadian federal, provincial, municipal government or similar work
- SQL Expertise: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
- SQL Expertise: Create and maintain reporting and SQL scripts.
- Power BI and Intelligence Tools: Extensive experience with Power B and other business intelligence reporting environments. Strong knowledge of Power Query and DAX within the Power BI environment.
- Cloud Expertise: Power BI Service
- Cloud Expertise: Microsoft Azure and Databricks
- Lakehouse architecture & Delta format knowledge.
- Providing insight into the changing reporting needs and requirements for the company and offering suggestions for technical solutions.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Oversee the report integration and visualization of data from legacy and on-premises systems to new solutions
- Content Management and Data Management Programs and Governance experience
- Start Schema and Analytical Data Models knowledge

**Work Environment**
- 9 months with 3 possible 1-year extensions
