**LTL PM Dispatcher -16:00 to 00:30**

APPS Transport Group is seeking a highly organized and resourceful **LTL PM Dispatcher** to join our team. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, and a solid understanding of dispatch operations in the transportation industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage **driver communications**, providing detailed pickup and delivery instructions.
- Monitor driver progress to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Optimize **equipment planning** for FTL and LTL shipments, minimizing costs while maximizing utilization.
- Track and manage **trailer movements** at the yard and distribution centers.
- Communicate **service delays or issues** to Customer Service before they occur.
- Assist drivers with **directions, job site contacts, and troubleshooting**.
- Utilize **GPS tracking** to ensure efficient routing.
- Act as the primary link between **drivers, freight operations, Data Centre, and Dock teams**.
- Ensure **timely return of freight** to the yard for processing and offloading.
- Oversee shift-end procedures, clearing the dispatch board and handing over outstanding deliveries to Overnight Dispatch.
- Provide **end-of-shift updates** to Day Dispatch, Customer Service, Linehaul, and Intermodal Logistics teams.
- Monitor and enforce **driver performance standards**, reporting violations to management.
- Ensure compliance with **Ministry of Transportation hours of service regulations**.
- Efficiently assign and dispatch shipments, maintaining a clear and up-to-date dispatch board.
- Coordinate **equipment repairs and emergency maintenance** as per company policies.
- Ensure adherence to **corporate security policies** and operational guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required to support operational success.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum **3 years of dispatch/operations** experience in a transportation environment.
- **Communication**: Strong ability to interact with internal teams, external contacts, and customers.
- **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with **CN web tools, rail billing procedures, and TruckMate Applications**.
- **Geographic Knowledge**: Strong understanding of **GTA streets and trucking regulations**.
- **Software Proficiency**: MS Outlook, MS Office (Excel, Word), Internet Explorer.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot issues and make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- **Physical & Mental Requirements**: Ability to sit for extended periods and handle high-pressure deadlines.

Pay: $50,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
