**About us**

ScaleRx is a mail order pharmacy servicing Canada wide telemedicine providers. We are inclusive and agile and offer a personalized mail-order experience to our patients. We strive to provide quick and accessible care to our Canadian patients. We are looking for a part time pharmacy assistant to work in the mail-order dispensary ScaleRx. The pharmacy assistant would have access to other pharmacists for questions and concerns as well as support from management.

The pharmacy assistant is responsible for entering and filling prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency. In addition, they will communicate with customers regarding pharmacy services and clarify issues with medical team members. They will be overseen by the pharmacy technician and pharmacist.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently and correctly complete computer prescription order entry and claim adjudication under pharmacy technician supervision
- Troubleshoot adjudication concerns with insurance providers and patient support programs
- Prepare compliance packaged medication with PACMED machine
- Sending batches to the PACMED Machine
- Inspecting Pacmed pouches for accuracy, broken tablets or duplicate tablets under pharmacy technician supervision
- Preparing all technical aspects of dispensing to be reviewed by pharmacist
- General housekeeping, stocking supplies, keeping dispensing area clean, and maintaining dispensing equipment
- Monitor and maintain inventory control of dispensary and OTC products on a daily basis
- Document relevant phone conversations in the patients profile.
- Escalate complex patients to pharmacy technician, pharmacists as needed.
- Scan and file Mckesson, OTC product and Narcotic invoices, as appropriate

**Skills and Experience**:

- 2 years of pharmacy assistant experience, dispensing medications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a telemedicine environment
- Excellent teamwork amongst pharmacy team as well as clinic team
- Excellent analytical, communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Kroll dispensing software
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements of our evolving business
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
- Previous use of SYNMED or PACMED system an asset
- Proficiency in French is an asset
- Proficiency in bigcommerce/shopify, stripe, square, gorgias (or other customer service platforms) an asset.

**Schedule**: Evening and weekends only.
