The Human Resources team is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time HR/Payroll Clerk to play a vital role in supporting the people who protect and serve our community. As an HR/Payroll Clerk, you’ll be essential to ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing—including regular pay, overtime, shift premiums, and other entitlements—while working closely with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain payroll integrity. You will also be responsible for reviewing and entering employee forms related to tax withholdings and voluntary deductions.

**What you will Bring to the Role**:
**Education, Certifications and Qualifications**:
Education: Community college in business administration, accounting and/or related areas. A combination of education and experience is acceptable.

**Previous Experience, Knowledge and Skills**:Minimum two years of work experience in an accounting or payroll function.

**Desirables: Member of the National Payroll Institute, Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) Designation, Advanced Excel user, Experience using various HRIS systems.**

Note: The successful applicant will need to pass a background check to the satisfaction of the Service which will include reference checks with previous employers, verification of educational achievements, and a criminal background screen.
