Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a Robot Weld Operator for the Edmonton manufacturing team on the day shift. This position will report to the General Foreman.

**What you will do**:

- Setting up, programming, operating, and troubleshooting robotic welding machines
- Welding, fitting, and assembling WBM products
- Consistently delivering quality workmanship
- Follow directions given in layouts, drawings and work orders
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of work station and machines
- Promotes and practices safety in the work place at all times

**Your qualifications**:

- Experience with metal-core welding is an asset but not necessary
- Experience using robotic welding machines is an asset but not necessary
- Experience fitting formed metal components is an asset but not necessary
- Welding Automation Certificate would be an asset
- Alberta Journeyman Ticket or Red Seal Certification in welding/steel plate fitting is an asset but not necessary

**What you bring to the position**:

- Knowledge of safe use of tools pertaining to a fabrication shop
- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
- Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent safety record
