**What you'll do**:

- Setup and execute controlled prototype equipment tests; identify, catalogue and report findings to Hardware & Software teams
- Develop, evaluate and improve robotic manufacturing systems and processes by working closely with a diverse technical team of engineers, software developers and designers
- Maintain and promote a safe and professional environment with a high level of safety awareness and compliance
- Identify individual components (both manufactured and purchased) and use them to create sub-assemblies for work cells, stations and other automated equipment
- Assemble, fit, align, plumb, wire, drill & anchor, and integrate workstations or systems that may include pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical sensing components, conveyor and feeder systems
- Rig and safely handle large equipment at our state-of-art robotic facility and also on-site at customer facilities
- Modify robot and PLC programs as required
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and perform required repairs to automation equipment
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, genie booms, and overhead cranes
- Participate in mechanical design reviews

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- College diploma or University Degree (Robotics, Industrial Automation, Mechanical or Mechatronics)
- Experience with industrial robot programming, PLCs, and industrial safety systems
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly and/or wiring of machine components
- Willingness to participate in a variety of technical areas in both hardware and software as needed to solve complex problems and achieve business impact
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and organization skills
- A positive “can-do” attitude and motivation to solve complex challenges
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office experience with intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to be on your feet for the majority of the working day
- The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- The ability to travel internationally
- The ability to work out of our Nisku facility
- (preferred) 3+ years of industry experience in leading, supervising or managing complex industrial robotics and system integration projects
- (preferred) Experience integrating KUKA robotics is a great asset
- (preferred) Experience with industrial low-voltage electrical systems
