**Position**: Accounts Receivable Specialist

**Location**: Newmarket

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts receivable processes including but not limited to invoicing, data entry, and meeting billing deadlines.
- Prepare billing documents such as WSIB, STAT DEC, FORM 5, and completion sign-offs.
- Collaborate with the financial controller to review accounts receivable reports and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct collection calls every other day, utilizing cold calling techniques and negotiation skills to secure payments.
- Take payments using our online payment system and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Review contracts and implement changes as directed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Experience with collections, including cold calling, is a must.
- Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
