**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner while transporting freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, mileage, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Organize and maintain inventory of materials in the yard
- Ensure the yard is clean, safe and organized at all times
- Assist customers with locating and loading materials
- Perform general maintenance tasks as needed

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (DZ) (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations related to driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
