The Construction Coordinator is responsible for effective project administration and operations support. Your responsibilities will include preparing, issuing, and tracking RFI’s, shop drawings, change orders, and change notices; preparing schedules; participating in project meetings; and, resolving technical issues and establishing and maintaining communication between all parties, just to name a few

**What we’re looking for on the resume**:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, in the commercial construction industry or significant experience on-site with an aptitude for records management and operational processes
- Technical diploma in an appropriate construction-related field (CET or comparable); Engineering degree is an asset
- The ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of the commercial construction process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Product. Experience with Autodesk and MS Project is an asset
**In the interview process we’ll be looking for evidence of**:
- An understanding of construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts
- An ability to communicate verbally; easy to follow and with confidence
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to track, evaluate and assess results of a project
- The ability to manage internal and external contractors and trades
- A willingness to take feedback and grow (not wilt)
- The ability to be a pro-active self-starter, hard working, and to think ahead and anticipate other’s needs
