This position is a member of Financial Services’ confidential leadership group. The Associate Director, Payment & Banking Services is responsible for management of fraud cases including the identification banking irregularities, liaising with Internal Audit in investigation, and development of risk mitigation strategies. They are responsible for Financial Services’ internal investigations of banking and credit card fraud involving staff, faculty, students, and external parties and recommending and implementing remediation. This position leads unit-level initiatives with respect to human resources and employee relations, staff recognition and development, succession planning and compensation. They also manage a significant amount of confidential and sensitive information related to payments, budgets and human resources on behalf of the unit and of the university. This position leads the development and implementation of best practice processes, programs, policies and systems that support the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing payments in support of units across the University.
