We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Territory Manager to join our team and drive the expansion of our brand across the Northern Alberta region. As the Territory Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with cannabis retailers, supporting our valued partners, and spearheading new business development initiatives in the region.
**Job Summary**:
As the Territory Manager for the Northern Alberta region, you will serve as the primary point of contact for cannabis retailers in the area. Your role will revolve around educating retailers about the Sticky Greens and Trippy Sips brands, coordinating, and executing in-store activities, and fostering sales growth. Reporting directly to the Field Sales Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence throughout Northern Alberta.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Consult and Educate Retailers**:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Sticky Greens products and their advantages.
- Educate cannabis retailers on the value proposition of the Sticky Greens and Trippy Sips brands.
- Offer tailored product recommendations and assistance to meet the specific needs of retailers.
- **Support Key Partners**:
- Forge and cultivate strong relationships with key partners across the region.
- Plan and execute in-store activities, including pop-up events and educational workshops.
- Ensure the effective implementation of brand marketing strategies at partner locations.
- **Business Development**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
- Devise and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to surpass sales targets.
- Maintain a keen awareness of the competitive landscape and market dynamics.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends in the Northern Alberta Region.
- Collaborate with the sales team to formulate data-driven growth strategies.
- Ensure the timely and accurate updating of CRM systems and sales tools.
- **Compliance**:
- Ensure all activities adhere to local and provincial regulations governing the cannabis industry.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred); relevant experience in an outside sales role will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in cannabis or related industries with a proven track record of sales success.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, industry trends, and regulations in the Northern Alberta region.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
**Additional Information**:
- This position requires regular travel within Edmonton and the Northern Region of Alberta
- Flexible working hours to accommodate in-store activities and retail schedules.
- Compensation package including a competitive base salary and bonus structure.
