Job Description

Working as a part of the demand generation marketing team, the Event Marketing Manager will report to the Manager, Corporate Events. As part of the delivery of a fully integrated demand generation strategy, The Event Marketing Manager will plan, market, and execute our sponsorship activations at industry events.
- Hold a comprehensive understanding of a B2B sales cycle, including cross-departmental collaboration, follow-ups, and transitions to the sales team
- Support an integrated event strategy, that drives pipeline (net new) + growth (existing)
- Work closely with members of the Demand Marketing group to spearhead initiatives focused on lead generation, pipeline acceleration, customer advocacy, and more via the sponsored events channel
- Work closely with our Sales teams on setting and achieving events KPIs and ROI metrics in place
- Analyze, track, and report on event ROI based on the predetermined pipeline, revenue, and MQL metrics using the available tools
- Establish a comprehensive events calendar by finding and evaluating event and sponsorship opportunities that are aligned with our demand generation and brand awareness goals
- Lead all aspects of the planning and execution process for our sponsored events calendar
- Develop and manage a comprehensive event and sponsorship budget in partnership with the Manager, Corporate Events
- Work with our Partnership Manager to coordinate speaking opportunities for Subject Matter Experts and support with logistics and topic ideation
- Manage and build relationships with vendors and external agencies

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in event management and event marketing.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in B2B marketing (technology products or services strongly preferred).
- A willingness to travel (30%) and the ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Experience working on large-scale (2k+ attendee) events.
- Skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget.
