is on the hunt for an Event Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team. Housed in a repurposed church in the heart of Sandy Hill, we are a busy and growing multi-space venue with restaurant, terrace, on-site bakery, private dining room and 300 person event space, with more on the way later in 2026.

We are looking for a Event Sales & Marketing Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience in events to lead the sales of our spaces through in-house contacts and a comprehensive marketing strategy. You should be as comfortable dealing with brides as CEOs and strive to provide exceptional service to both.

Bilingualism is a big asset, attention to detail is paramount, and your dynamism will shine through in-person, on the phone, and by email. Priority will be given to candidates with hospitality experience.

The role is predominantly daytimes, but there will be some evenings and weekends as required and you should have the flexibility to adjust accordingly.

Compensation
: $60,000-$65,000

Working Arrangements
: On-site full-time 5 days per week.

Roles and Responsibilities

Sales

  • Sell events to clients, finalize contracts and accept deposits
  • Conduct venue tours

Manage Event Team

  • Ensure that event office is productive, efficient and meeting the expectations established by the managing partner and operations manager
  • Manage social media posts for allsaints event space, manage the website and ensure it is updated
  • Develop sales calendar and timelines

Client Management

  • Manage contracting, electronic and paper files for all clients
  • Develop event orders and scenario notes at least two weeks in advance so that staff have complete information for events and that they are properly resourced

Facility Coordination

  • Ensure that all emails are managed with a service standard of 24 hours for responses
  • Manage schedule for all spaces through event temple, responsible to present at weekly meeting, manage agenda and take minutes
  • Ensure upcoming activities are communicated to staff through calendar of events in staff room and online calendars

Communications and Marketing

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategy for event and restaurant sales and lead a monthly Sales and Marketing meeting to report on progress
  • Manage the central Sales and Marketing Calendar including social media schedule
  • Advertising: Place ads in community newspapers
  • Develop and send monthly newsletter out to contact list

  • Proficiency in Event Planning, Coordination, and Venue Management
  • Strong Communication, Organizational, and Problem-Solving skills

  • Familiarity with CRM tools or customer database software is an asset
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for event schedules
  • A background in hospitality, marketing, or a related field is an advantage
