JOB SUMMARY

The Master Data Analyst will be responsible for resolving orders related queries while maintaining a high-level of inventory accuracy and service through a detailed investigation and analysis of customer order discrepancies and service metrics.

This role promotes operational problems resolution, identifying root causes and driving process initiatives/improvements across the teams.
- Investigates and escalates root causes for inventory discrepancies, customer delays, and quality issues. Formulates recommendations and action plans with the objective of achieving and driving customer excellence across teams.
- Investigates inventory variances, adjusts inventory records, and work with operations to implement corrective actions.
- Coordinates control of damaged and defective product and customer claims, ensuring any inventory changes are accounted for and properly processed to the expectations of the customer.
- Provides feedback and where necessary, reports to management regarding operational accuracy from the results of inbound and outbound audits, inventory counts, product handling, and system related user errors.
- Monitors KPIs regarding accuracy and integrity of Inventory transactions; and provide feedback to Operations where necessary.
- Produce and analyse daily/weekly and monthly, and post-mortem reports and present the outcomes to the management/client.
- Develop presentations for stakeholders and management, summarizing key findings and areas of opportunity
- Provides communication and suggests inventory and product handling process related improvements.
- Creates and maintains up to-date logs of queries from Customer service teams.

KPI Management
- Work closely with warehouse operations
- Track related data, analyze and summarize results
- Prepare weekly/monthly KPI reports
- Identify opportunities for improvement and promote their adoption

Productivity Management
- Analyze and summarize results, measure against productivity standards
- Analyze root causes of business problems and recommend corrective action
- Monitor productivity performance and time report to operations team and management
- Monitor business performances regularly and generate performance reports to management

Master Data
- Review and update warehouse maps.
- Review and update Product/’s attributes
- Review and update client customer ship to/’s and attributes
- Co-ordinate product movement, warehouse slotting changes and product rotation process.
- Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels.
- Participate in special projects as assigned to support business strategies.

EDUCATION AND JOB KNOWLEDGDE
- Diploma in data/business/quantitative analysis
- Minimum 2 years hands on experience in data analysing preferably in a distribution/retail environment
