Reporting to the Finance Director, the Procurement Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of Procurement related policies & procedures, system implementation and process improvements at Liebherr Canada Ltd. The Procurement Manager will play an integral part in the success of the growing the procurement department and practices at Liebherr Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create, maintain and support change management of Liebherr Canada Procurement policies, procedures and other documentation
- Vendor management including documentation, pricing and managing vendor-specific issues and / or challenges
- Creation and management of controls for overhead and fixed asset spending
- Ensure maximization of PO-based purchasing
- Implementation, management and maintenance of eProcurement system
- Contract and pricing negotiation with key vendors
- Overall management and development of centralized Procurement team
- Audit of internal processes to ensure effectiveness and determine efficiencies
- Knowledge/ education on fleet, tooling and machine freight related spend reduction and controls
- Full cycle fleet management from acquisition, maintenance and improvements to disposal
- Fixed asset investment budgeting, approvals, maintenance of documentation and data in line with Liebherr International standards
- Ensure Terms & Conditions of Purchase are accurate and up to date to meet the legal requirements of Liebherr Canada
- Manage employee fitness subsidy program
- Other duties as assigned

**Competencies**:

- 8+ years experience as a Procurement Manager in a mid-sized manufacturing or distribution company
- Diploma/Certification with a post secondary institution with Finance, Business or Accounting focus. SCMP Designation (Supplied Chain Management Professional) considered a strong asset
- Experience with change managment required
- Well versed in segment managment, strategic sourcing, procurement negotiations, cost management, contract management
- Demonstrate exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Hands-on proactive and assertive, result driven mindset
- Have the ability to prioritize tasks, and have strong attention to detail
- Bilingual (French/English) communications would be an asset
