**Job description**

Firemen Movers is a locally owned and operated premium moving company servicing the GTA and abroad. We are seeking passionate, reliable individuals to join our team comprised of career firefighters, aspirational firefighters, and people from all walks of life that love providing exceptional service to their community.

**What Firemen Movers offers**:

- 20$/hr. starting salary, with bonuses for drivers, trainers, and Crew Chiefs
- Weekly pay, minimum 4 hours/day
- Overtime pay after 10 hours daily, no 40hr weekly minimum required

**What you will need**:

- The ability to lift 75 + pounds over head, bend, squat, crouch, kneel and climb stairs consistently throughout the day
- Willing and able to work weekends
- Willing and able to work on a variable weekly schedule and when needed, work long hours
- Excellent Customer Service
- Have a positive, collaborative attitude
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to dependably commute to our location in Etobicoke
- Preference will be given to graduates and students of Pre-Service Fire, Police and Paramedic colleges
- Commercial driving experience is REQUIRED
- Valid DZ license with no demerit points is REQUIRED

**What you will do**:

- Load, unload and move products/furniture and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Basic furniture dis-assembly and re-assembly.
- Wrap furniture items in moving blankets and other protective materials
- Operate dollies and other loading equipment to load and unload materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionalism when dealing with clients and their property
- Perform other activities such as opening storage containers and crates, assist in taking inventory and packing clients contents into boxes on packing days
- Assist with other tasks on the job site as required

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
