Edmonton, Canada On Site Projects Ltd. Full time

**On Site Projects is looking to hire for the Shutdown season at CNRL. The initial stage goes until Mid-June with continuous CNRL projects thereafter.**
- **Project is located approximately 70Kms north of Fort McMurray in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alberta**:

- **Competitive rates: Employees $59.35/hr. (includes turnaround premium rate+vacation and stat. pay) and DSPs $ 69.15/hr. (includes turnaround premium rate)**

Pipefitters/Steamfitters Foreman will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of pressure piping systems as per provided specifications. Piping systems include gas, water, steam, chemical, etc. They will be responsible for their team following all process, procedures and enforcing OSP’s safety culture.

**FIFO from Edmonton or Calgary, camp accommodations are available. Shut down is temporary but possibility for continued employment thereafter.**
- Job Duties and Accountabilities may include,_
- Planning and delegating daily tasks to their crew and following up to make sure everyone is being efficient and productive.
- Delivering the daily tool box talks.
- Proof reading, editing and revising time sheets and progress sheets submitted by foreman
- Trouble shoot any production issues that come up, such as locating missing materials, etc.
- Answering and assisting client coordinators when required.
- Providing guidance to their crews and foremen.
- Coordinating drivers to pick up materials from the client.
- Ensuring OSP sea cans and materials Laydown is kept neat and organized by foreman's workers.
- Frequent site walks and productivity inspections.
- Submitting final copies of time sheets and progress sheets to superintendent
- Education, Skills and Abilities Required_
- Pipefitter/Steamfitter trade certification
- Excellent People Skills and demonstrated leadership skills
- Climb heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints.
- Lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
- Strong manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

- Working Conditions_
- This is moderately strenuous work. Employees must be capable of performing repetitive tasks and may require extended periods of standing, crouching, crawling, or kneeling.
- There may be potential exposure to high noise levels and hazards associated with live operating plants, industrial sites and remote work locations.
- Personnel must stay at provided camp accommodations during length of shift.
- Working in a remote live operating plant requires all personnel on active shift to be “On Call” after regular hours to attend any urgent or unforeseen events that may impact or compromise the site’s operations, health and safety standards or the environment.
- This is considered a safety sensitive position.

**Salary**: $59.35-$69.15 per hour
