**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements for piping systems and installations.
- Measure and cut pipes to specified lengths using appropriate tools and techniques to fit the layout.
- Assemble and install valves, fittings, and other components as required to ensure the integrity of the piping system.
- Perform pressure tests on piping systems to verify their integrity and ensure they are operating safely.
- Identify issues with existing piping systems and implement effective solutions to resolve any leaks or performance issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Ensure tools and materials are properly handled.
- Work closely with other tradespeople to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, materials, and safety procedures.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing piping systems.
- Ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to pipefitting work and the ability to work safely in various environments.
- Certification or relevant training in pipefitting is a plus but not mandatory. A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required. Class 1 or 3 is an asset for field-based work.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople and team members to meet project deadlines.

Pay: $38.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
