**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow and high-quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and proper equipment usage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
- Create new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
**Skills**
- Proficient in serving techniques and food preparation methods.
- Strong cooking skills with experience in various cuisines.
- Knowledge of food service operations and best practices in the food industry.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety guidelines.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
