We are currently looking to hire a qualified **Finance & Insurance Assistant**to our team at Shaw GMC.

**Description**:
The F&I Assistant will be responsible for performing clerical and administrative tasks to support the Finance & Insurance department. This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely submission of manufacturer program documents, maintaining records, and assisting with various behind-the-scenes tasks to ensure smooth operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Clerical Support**: Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records
- **Program Submissions**: Ensure all manufacturer program submissions are completed accurately and on time
- **Documentation**: Prepare and process finance and insurance documents, contracts, and agreements
- **Compliance**: Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements
- **Communication**: Liaise with manufacturers, lenders, and internal departments to resolve any issues related to finance and insurance submissions
- **Reporting**: Assist in preparing reports and summaries for management review
- **Customer Service**: Provide support to Sales Managers and F&I Managers in handling customer inquiries and resolving issues

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous administrative experience, automotive industry an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of finance and insurance processes in the automotive industry is a plus
