**Description**
**Job Summary**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Make local deliveries in the Downtown area;
- Make daily deposit runs to the bank;
- Certify cheques;
- Record and Validate certificates received to Securities Cage for Filing;
- Delivery and retrieval of certificates internally and offsite;
- Sorting and mailing of Prospectus and trade confirmations;
- Internal distribution of Corporate mailings including Proxy and Information Circulars;
- Back-up for Securities Cage Associates in times of high volume and vacation coverage;
- Key incoming EFTs;
- Participate in department initiatives and projects; and
- Other duties as assigned.

- Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry

**Skill in**

**Ability to**
- Work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail;
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
- Demonstrate a professional manner to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization;
- Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information; and
- Communicate proficiently in French is an asset.

**Educational/Previous Experience Requirements**
- A minimum of 3 years of financial industry or related experience; and
- Experience with industry related systems is an asset.
