Job Description The RBC Dominion Securities Vancouver Main branch located downtown is seeking an Investment Associate – Research Analyst to join a successful Private Investment Management Team. You will conduct thorough research and modelling on various investment opportunities for the team. Applicants must submit a stock pitch in their application. Responsibilities Research and analyze financial information to be used in making investment decisions. Analyze financial and alternative information to produce forecasts of a specific company or industry. Collect and assemble financial data that affect security prices. Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments. Keep models up to date on a monthly/quarterly basis. Assist with quarterly updates and client letters. Qualifications 3‑5 years of professional experience in a similar role. Exceptional analytical and research skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Familiar with various research platforms. Ability to work independently. Customer Service, Data Entry, Data Gathering Analysis, Desktop Tools, Group Problem Solving, Interpersonal Relationships, Knowledge Organization, Teamwork, Time Management, Word Processing Software. Nice‑to‑have Technical proficiency (SQL, Python, R, VBA, C#, C++ or other programming languages). Fluency in foreign languages. Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability. Compensation The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000. The position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0× base salary.
