**Position Functions**
- Independently visit with clients to investigate and analyze clients' technologies, technological

challenges and conduct thorough investigative technical interviews with staff members.
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing processes and prepare clear and accurate technical reports describing the clients' SR&ED activities and advancements.
- Assessing R&D expenditures, time and cost activities involved with all technical projects.
- Research and report on clients SR&ED projects and support client connection throughout year.
- Involvement in all interactions [audits, reviews] that arise with the Canada Revenue Agency, client and Optiprint.
- Self-motivation to take control of resource management with keeping clients on time with SR&ED filing with T2 at year end.

**Skills Required**:

- Extensive work experience [excess of 20 years] in the printing & packaging industry, such as prepress, printing, finishing, technical sales, digital innovation & equipment etc.
- 2-4 years' industry experience as an effective technical writer or technical activities in the manufacturing, printing & packaging markets.
- University or College degree, preferably in a field of science such as Computer Science, or Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding technical writing skills and elevated understanding of processes and technical concepts in printing, graphic imaging, and packaging.
- Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to articulate, discuss and convey technical matters in the graphic arts industry.
- High degree of professionalism and ability to work comfortably and effectively with client

personnel at all levels of production and management.
- Excellent time management skills as well as the ability to work independently and to simultaneously manage multiple client projects.
- Experience in preparing SR&ED tax credit claims or in working for the CRA auditing - preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability and willingness to travel in Ontario and within Canada to client locations (must have a car). This position is required for you to be a Canadian citizen and reside preferably in the Central part of Ontario, Toronto GTA, Southwestern Ontario or surrounding areas.
