**Reports to**: Manager, Events

**Duration**: Full time, Permanent

**I. Major Functions Responsibilities**:

- Working with internal teams to provide logístical support for global and local events
- Managing and coordinating follow-up actions related to the sale of sponsorship, working with the Assistant Manager, Sponsorship & Events to ensure deliverables are met within the determined timeframe and budget.
- Identifying new potential vendors and suppliers and developing relationships with key contacts.
- Supporting the Manager, Events in their daily tasks and team objectives
- Managing the webinar platform and working with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of webinars.
- Tracking event progress including registration, costs of sale, current expenses, etc.
- Supporting the Manager, Events in logistics and planning of events including liaising with suppliers, reviewing contracts, quotes and invoicing process, etc.
- Provide other required support to the Events team

**II. Qualification and Skills**
- Higher education or a minimum of 5 years experience in event planning.
- Excellent French and English skills, with clear writing style is essential.
- Additional languages considered an asset
- Budget and contract management experience is a plus

**III. Requirements**:

- A strong understanding of event logistics and customer service
- Superior organizational skills to carry out and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and aptitude for fostering positive relationships.
- Teamwork skills, but with ability to work independently and assume full responsibility for assigned tasks.
