Each large-scale exhibition travels globally for 5-7 years with multiple exhibits on the road simultaneously. Smaller exhibitions tour across Northern Ontario and Canada for 1-3 years.

**In this role you will**:

- Manage a team of technical specialists who work remotely at client locations to install and de-install exhibitions
- Define deliverables, identify resources, and lead logistics for travelling exhibition tours
- Manage day-to-day operations to meet financial goals
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing unit to nurture client relationships and promote future sales opportunities
- Advance health & safety procedures for travelling staff and promote a culture of safety in all work locations
- Lead the installation and support of incoming travelling exhibitions to Science North
- Develop and maintain Exhibition Tour schedules and budgets
- Provide ongoing customer support and build strong relationships with science centre and museum clients
- Participate as a key member of the project team in the development of new travelling exhibitions to maximize performance, travelability and efficiency
- Support Science North initiatives and best practices for sustainability, accessibility, equity, diversity, and reconciliation.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience leading teams and managing operational goals
- Familiar with Office 365 and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Strong interest in relationship-building and customer service
- Willingness to create and support a collaborative team environment
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Aptitude for resourceful problem-solving and innovation
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion
