Medicine Chest Pharmacy is an independently owned pharmacy, which strives to provide the highest level of care and service for our clients. We are seeking a motivated, hard working and compassionate individual to join our team.
Duties include of a pharmacy assistant include:
- providing professional and compassionate client service
- preparing prescriptions for clients
- Inventory control within dispensary and front store
- regular organization, cleaning and maintenance
Knowledge and Skills required:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Ability to deal with situations in a professional manner
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
- Ability to organize, prioritize and adapt to workload changes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
- Attention to detail
- Reliabable, punctual, intrinsically motivated and ability to work within a team
- High level of computer literacy
Experience working in pharmacy/related health care field and/or related education is considered a strong asset.
