We look forward to hearing from you Contact: jeff@medicinechest.ca www.medicinechest.ca Pharmacist Positions: Contract and Full-Time Flexible opportunity to join a team of dedicated pharmacists and pharmacy assistants at Medicine Chest Pharmacy in beautiful Whitehorse, Yukon. With two locations, adjacent to medical clinics, this independently owned, busy pharmacy strives to provide excellent patient care in collaboration with physicians and other health care providers. Pharmacists are well supported to utilize their clinical expertise in a professional setting. Yukon legislation supports a broad expanded scope of practice including Minor Ailment Assessment, Extending and Adapting Prescriptions, Injections, Medication Reviews, and Prescribing for Smoking Cessation and Preventative Travel Medicine. Compensation and Benefits Salary: starting at $70/hr (reviewed annually) Annual progressive retention bonus RRSP top-up program 4 weeks vacation in year 1, then 5 weeks vacation annually Sick leave benefits (equivalent to 8 days/year) Employer paid dental/extended benefits package Maternity leave top-up benefit Payment of licensing fees and insurance Northern residency tax benefits Working Hours Open 8:30-5:30, Monday to Friday and Saturday 10-5; closed Sundays and statutory holidays Excellent pharmacist over‑lap and assistant support, 3-4 pharmacists/shift Work‑life balance in a beautiful setting Qualifications Able to be licensed and in good standing with Government of Yukon, Professional Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Commitment to providing exceptional patient care Must be proficient in English Proficiency in Kroll Pharmacy Software preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
