**Duties**
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, water tanks, on demand water heaters, boilers, furnances) in commercial and residential structures (Mostly residential)
- Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
- Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices.
- Assemble piping systems as required for various projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move equipment or materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, inside, outside, small dirty spaces.

**Experience**
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
- Knowledge of local building plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing challenges accordingly.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including customer service.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with the intricacies of working with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion.

**Education and Requirements**:

- Plumbing license
- Gas license (not required)
- At least 1-3 years’ experience as a plumber
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have own tools

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Apprenticeship

Pay: $35.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
