Apprentice Plumber / Gas Fitter

If you want to learn all about Field Service Plumbing look no further. We are looking for an apprentice to work along side with our experienced journeyman plumbers / gasfitters.

We specialize in residential and commercial service work. We offer our commercial, industrial, and residential customers 24 hour service as well as excellence in customer service and mechanical system diagnostics. Spears is a Warranty depot for several different pump manufactures. This has allowed us to specialize in pumps along with all other mechanical services. We are known in the industry as the Pump People.

This position requires a team player, who enjoys a challenge. Being on this team you will learn to diagnose, repair and install boilers systems, furnace systems, booster packages, storm pump systems, sanitary pump systems, be certified for confined space entry, and also provide small plumbing repairs. You will also be capable and responsible for gathering information for further repair work or recommendations for you customers.

Duties: - Assist journeyman plumbers in assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing and heating systems - Assist in cutting, threading, and bending pipes using hand and power tools - Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner - follow safety protocols and regulations at all times - have a clean drivers license - come with your own basic tools at least.

Experience: - We require a minimum of a 3rd year apprentice plumber. - Willingness to learn and develop skills in the plumbing trade - Knowledge of hand and power tools is a must - Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment - Strong work ethic and attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
