**Key Duties**:

- Safe and efficient operation of the spreader, plow wing or combo unit, to perform winter maintenance operations on designated district roads.
- Ensure compliance with applicable acts and regulations.
- Perform required trip inspections, and maintain required documentation manually or electronically.
- Load truck as required.
- Report accidents and traffic violations to the area supervisor.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Must hold and maintain a valid AZ or DZ driver’s license.
- Able to stand, lift 50 lbs, carry, bend, reach.
- Must be capable of self-loading the truck.
- Experience in highway maintenance and snow plowing considered an asset.
- A high commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
- Strong work ethic, reliable and highly motivated.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.
- Must be capable of verbally communicating effectively in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Must be able to complete all necessary forms and documentation.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management.

**Work Conditions**:

- Requires long hours of driving using a company provided vehicle during work hours.
- Travel to various sites and locations will be required.
- Indoor and outdoor environments in various weather conditions.
- Weekend, night and on-call shifts will be necessary based on weather conditions.
