**Now hiring a Parts Reclamation Technician in St Thomas, ON**

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Use of tools to disassemble and removal of parts from decommissioned buses as indicated on work orders
- Inspecting for quality control all parts inventoried (both warehouse and yard parts)
- Marking all parts removed with vehicle stock#, then attaching correct tag.
- Putting parts away into warehouse, scanning locations with barcode reader if applicable
- Updating computer with completed vehicle status, vehicle location, parts locations, and updated quality control information.
- Removing wheels and tires if applicable
- Cleaning work area of all debris, scrap, spills, trash, etc. before starting next vehicle.
- Provide general assistance to external and internal customers as needed
- Knowledge and use of welding equipment.

**Job Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of automotive or diesel experience as asset
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Working knowledge of vehicle parts and use of hand tools required
- Ability to learn disassembling/maintenance skills
- Vocational or Technical certification an asset
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Background check
