**Warehouse Receiver**

**Scarborough, Ontario**

NowPac has been in business since 1988 and provides contract packaging services and third-party supply chain solutions to major Fortune 500 companies.

We are looking for a full time Receiver for our Scarborough location. As a key member of the warehouse team, the Receiver will be responsible for the flow of goods within the facility in an organized and safe manner. This position will oversee the receiving of goods, checking for accuracy, and appropriately receiving materials.
- Work in a team environment and be a team player
- Understand the company’s quality system, how it works and how you affect the quality system
- Understand and implement the company’s Quality Policy
- Work in a safe manner
- Complete safety check at the start of your shift on the forklift and operate the equipment in a safe manner
- Check and follow receiving instructions
- Receive incoming loads in a timely manner
- Follow all Quality and GMP procedures
- Report all problems to your Supervisor/Manager when they occur
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Other duties as assigned
- Abide by all plant rules, safety rules, COVID 19 and regulations of the Company

Qualifications:

- Completion of High School
- English language proficiency
- Strong written and oral communication
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team
- 3-5 years warehouse experience an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Problem solving, decision making, planning and organization skills

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
