Overview:

- You will interface with clients and staff to help design contaminated work plans, setup subcontractors, assist with management of projects and report on environmental work-related site characterization and remediation. This position will be working in general contaminated sites situations, as well as providing services related to upstream and mid-stream oil & gas facilities. Reporting to the Regional Team Lead for BC South, the Intermediate Environmental Professional will build and maintain positive client relationship focused on providing top quality service in a variety of environmental programs.

**ore than 5+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience related to contaminated and remedial sites in BC or in the Oil and Gas sector.**
**You will also possess a technical Diploma or University Degree in**
**environmental**
**science or related discipline.**

**This role is permanent and will require travel for completing field-based projects.**

**We are seeking multiple positions which can be based out of Burnaby, Vancouver, Victoria or Kelowna, BC.**

**What would you be doing?**
- Coordinating and executing remediation programs including Stage 1 and 2 Preliminary Site Investigations or Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments, Detailed Site Investigations, In-Situ and Ex-Situ Remediation, soil and groundwater treatment, soil and groundwater monitoring
- Coordinating and executing reclamation programs including small and large scale surface reclamation, Detailed Site Assessments.
- Cost tracking, reporting and report technical review
- Implement corporate and client safety programs
- Ensure that project requirements are met in a timely and effective manner

**Does this sound like you?**
- Strong working knowledge of the BC Contaminated Site Regulation and familiarity with environmental regulations in BC
- Strong field skills, including soil characterization and groundwater monitoring and sampling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in planning and control of work in a multi-project, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds
- Able to prioritize work, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced, high volume team environment
- Proactive approach to problem solving with a strong ability to take initiative
- Must have strong ability to influence and communicate
- Proven ability to build relationships across various organizations
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Must possess or be eligible for professional designation
