**Job Description**:
Someone between ROW MTCE and the Depth of Cover Survey and Mitigations projects, that is willing to be flexible and available as needed. Working also on the Maintenance side.

**Field Services ROW Maintenance Inspector’s Duties**:

- Manages/performs Locate requests, witnesses, and oversees 3rd-Party ROW Crossing activities per Pre-approved Crossing Agreements.
- Interfaces with 3rd-Parties such as Contractors, adjacent Landowners, Industry Facilities.
- Manages and supervises contractors, performs TNPI’s ROW Inspection / Maintenance Program, including Signage & Vegetation Control.
- Manages onsite activities of maintenance / construction contractors including issuing Safe Work Permits.
- Ensures Close-out of applicable Maintenance Routes and Work Orders.
- Supports Construction / Project type work, participate in onsite visitations, gate reviews and pre-job planning meetings.
- Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal & communication skills when dealing with external 3rd-parties, including but not limited to Excavators, Utility Companies, Land Owners and Regulatory Inspectors.
- Issues Prescribed Area Permits to external 3rd-Parties requiring access to ROW.
- Manages / performs locate requests and witnesses / oversees basic / routine 3rd-Party ROW Crossing activities as per Pre-approved Crossing Agreements.
- Actively supports Land Department community awareness communication programs designed to increase public awareness.
- Manages Aerial / Ground Patrols utilized to proactively mitigate unauthorized ground disturbance.
- Manages and performs valve vault inspections per planning documents.
- Other duties as requested by Supervisor/Manager.

**Qualifications**:
Depth of Cover Mitigation and Survey Project Inspectors Duties:

- _ As above where appropriate, including the following._
- API 1169 Pipeline Inspector Certification required.
- Complete all training as determined appropriate for role by safety department.
- Participate in developing and managing Environmental Plans in the field as required.
- Assist planning team in schedule development and ensure all required resources are at site according to the schedule.
- Work with primary vendors to ensure all TNPI procedures are followed.
- Liaise with TNPI Land and Damage Prevention to ensure proper landowner engagement is in place prior to going to field.
- Ensure TNPI and vendors safety programs are followed by auditing regularly in the field per safety program.
- Conduct morning toolbox talks and ensure they are relevant to the days work.
- Other duties as requested by Supervisor/Manager.
- Bi-Lingual is preferred as the project goes through both ON and PQ
- Outside of industry certifications all training will be provided by the client.
