**Preferred Availability**

You will be working with a team of managers. We will need you some days during the week and alternating weekend days.

**About the Job**

We are currently looking for a Keyholder / Supervisor for our location in Scarborough located on Kennedy Road.

It is a high-energy job that requires someone with a great attitude, team-focused, positive and professional

You will assist Management with training and staff development.

Help factorydirect.ca build customer loyalty with your excellent customer service skills.

Maintain and innovate everyday by merchandising with your team following our display guidelines. It's not an office job -- there's a good amount of activity on the sales floor with your team

You will learn and use our point-of-sale system Retail Pro.

You will be using our web-based inventory control software for product information and tracking stock movement.

Applicants with a commission sales background will be in higher consideration.

**Specific skills you will need**:

- Merchandising and shelf-stocking;
- Ability to lift 22 kgs (50 lbs);
- Ability to push/pull up to 22kgs (50 lbs);
- Ability to walk/stand for a up to 10 hour shift;
- Direct and evaluate daily operations;
- Manage staff and assign duties;
- Implement price and credits policies;
- Perform cash deposits;
- Balance daily transactions;
- Implement marketing strategies;
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- Be customer service oriented.

**Education**:

- Completion of high school,
- Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- Some university

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in retail

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Security and Safety: Bondable

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less, 5 people or less
