MacKay’s Truck & Trailer Center is growing, and we are currently seeking a permanent full-time Evening Parts Clerk to join our team in **Dartmouth, Nova Scotia **for the 4pm-12am shift. MacKay’s is a well-established family-owned business with over 40 years experience operating full-line Truck, Trailer & Compact Equipment dealerships, with locations in Truro & Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island as well as Moncton, New Brunswick. We offer a fast paced, professional safe environment. MacKay’s provides employees with the most up to date manufacturers’ training and holds safety to the highest standards.

MacKay's offers an hourly wage of **$20-23 **(depending on experience), a comprehensive compensation package that includes medical, dental, vision, and extended health benefits, company pension (matched), three weeks vacation to start, and a boot allowance.

The ability to foster relationships with our existing customers and build rapport with new prospects will be paramount to your success. As a Parts Clerk you will work collaboratively with both the Parts and Service Departments to balance customer needs and company demands in a deadline driven environment. You will be entrusted to develop and achieve profitable parts and service volume and deliver quality service to our customers.

**Skills**:

- Accountability to develop strong product and service knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively and constructively with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Able to learn new skills, computer experience is an asset.

Experience in the trucking industry is preferred; ideally within a Parts/Service Department.
