**Full Time Housekeeping Attendant**

**JOB SUMMARY**

Responsible for overall cleanliness of the Clubhouse. Duties include, but are not limited to vacuuming, dusting, cleaning washrooms, cleaning windows, organizing rooms, cleaning floors and other housekeeping jobs. Responsible for the setting up of the clubhouse rooms according to the requirements of the day. Moves clubhouse equipment as needed. Helps in the moving of received products or equipment to its proper storage area.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Polish, sweep, vacuum, mop, wipe, dust and scrub furniture and fixtures.
- Washroom cleanliness including sinks, toilets, showers.
- Ability to handle special situations which require deep cleaning and possible sanitizing of areas due to human waste in Clubhouse.
- Set up tables and chairs in various rooms (and outside) of clubhouse when needed.
- Aid in receiving, storing and replenishing incoming equipment and goods.
- Order and maintain adequate supplies
- Ensure certain goods are locked at all times.
- Reorganizing and rearranging location of equipment and goods in the clubhouse.
- Emptying trash and recyclables into proper receptacles as needed.
- Sweeping, hosing down, shoveling and salting exterior areas of Clubhouse including all entrances, patio and deck.
- Ensure all areas, inside and outside of the clubhouse, are free from debris, waste and recyclables.
- Emptying exterior ashtrays and trash cans into proper receptacles as needed.
- Adhere to health & safety regulations.
- Aid in maintaining in general the cleanliness of clubhouse as need arises.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
- Lifting/moving up to 50 pounds
- Minimum 2 years housekeeping/janitorial experience in commercial establishment-Required
- Ability to work independently - Required
- Prior customer service experience - Preferred
- Available to work all shifts including weekends and evenings
- required
- Must have your own vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Typical hours for this position are 6:30am - 2:30pm including weekends. Additional hours may be required as per event. Also note it is important to have transportation as public transit does not go by the club at the required start time. Attention to detail is very important. Must be able to move stacks of chairs and set up large tables for events.

Employees of Beach Grove have limited golf privileges at the most prestigious course in the county. Tip share can equate to approximately an addition $1-$2 per hourdepending on hours and events.
