**This is a part time position only**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Ability to work alone in the store
- Ensure all individuals within the store are of legal age
- Manage your own point of sale (POS) terminal
- Manage cash and debit/credit transactions, as well as cash floats
- Create an educational and informative experience for all customers, regardless of their experience with cannabis or any cannabis derivatives. In-house training will be provided.
- Recommend products appropriate for customer needs/criteria (cannabis flower, seeds, oil, cannabis accessories)
- Report any suspicious behaviors or abusive customers to immediate supervisor
- General housekeeping of store spaces (vacuum / sweep sales floor area, wipe down counters & display cabinets, etc.)
- Any other tasks assigned by the Manager

** Adhere to store policies regarding COVID-19 sanitation and safety protocols (employee and patron adherence to mask bylaws, sanitizing high-contact surfaces, social distancing measures, etc.) **

**Qualifications**:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current or eligible for SellSafe Retail Certification
- Valid or eligible for QCW Certification (criminal background check required)
- Experience in a cannabis retail setting is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
- Desire to educate guests and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use
