**Job Summary**

**ACP is looking to hire immediately for night-shift operations**

We are looking for a reliable individual who will be responsible for contributing in the daily operations on the company job sites. This position is part of the ACP Applied Products’ **Construction Department, which is located in Stony Plain, AB.** Depending on the specific project requirement, this position may require the potential to travel throughout the GEA, throughout the province, and potentially to Saskatchewan. As a Labourer you will be responsible for complying with safe working procedures and practices both on and off company job sites. You will be responsible for helping out with multiple different tasks and also helping to control the daily traffic in and around job sites, your jobs is to assess the environment and utilize safe practices to direct people and traffic in a safe manner. Versatility, flexibility and a positive attitude are required in this position.
- Your responsibility is to provide support services to the operation in order to ensure effective and efficient completion of the work task.
- Labouring activities may include, but not be limited to: operation of hand and power tools as required by shift supervisor, lifting of job specific material/supplies and moving them throughout the work area, operation of commercial vehicles (familiarity with Daily Driver Logs are an asset).
- Labourers must be willing to take direction from others and follow through with the designated tasks, and have a willingness to follow standards and guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- A high school diploma or GED an asset
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5) along with a recent abstract is required
- Must own a reliable transportation
- Ability to do physically demanding work
- Flagging experience is considered an asset
- Able to work in uncertain outdoor conditions
- Be willing to work out of town for up to 3 week’s at a time (Work in AB, BC, NWT, SK & MB)
- Have a willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
- Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
- Able to work overtime hours when required
- Must be able to write, read, and communicate effectively in English
- Experience with safety regulations and safe practices

Compensation Data
- Wages range from $18-$30 / hr depending on experience and performance of tasks.
- Night shift premium: Additional $2 / hr
- Shift Hours: 8 - 13 hrs depending on site specific variables, and determined by shift supervisor.
