The Housekeeping Attendant services guest rooms and guest housekeeping requests and is responsible for their overall comfort level of the guest.

Job Requirements

We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This role has direct involvement with guests; excellent communication skills and command of the English language is required. Individuals need to be able to clean guest rooms to Best Western Plus Standards. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, primarily weekends and holidays. This position requires standing for the majority of the shift and requires the ability to lift at least 40 lbs. Additional Skills & Abilities preferred 1 year previous Housekeeping experience in a fast paced Hotel operation. Exceptional communication skills and command of English language.

Additional language a definite asset for career growth Hotel Housekeeper.

In addition to general housekeeping tasks the housekeeper duties in a hotel or similar environment will include:

- clean corridors, and guest rooms
- organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures
- distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand
- restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, mini bar
- replace dirty linens with clean items
- inspect and turn mattresses regularly
- store all dirty laundry in line with company policy
- monitor guest laundry bags
- replace laundry bags and slips
- check all appliances in rooms are in working order
- realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- respond to guest queries and requests
- respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
- deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest room
- organize and restock cart at the end of the shift
- ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
- follow all company safety and security procedures
- report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- observe and report damage of hotel property Knowledge and Experience
- knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
- physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 40 lbs)

This position requires you to work every weekend Saturdays and Sundays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From $16.80 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
