Project Manager/coordinator

The Onboarding Project Manager is responsible for building and managing the projects. They are accountable for engaging the project participants and sponsors to ensure active participation on project initiatives and deliverables (project charters, RACI and plans). The Onboarding Manager must adhere to governance standards. This is a brand-new role reporting into the Senior Director of the Product Development responsible for coordinating client onboarding activities including all account openings/maintenance and technical integration. This pivotal role was created to ensure our newly acquired clients feel supported in their decision to partner with Fleet Optics with seamless service from the onset. In this specialized role, the Onboarding Project Manager will work with business analysts, finance, software developers, operations, customer service and sales team to facilitate client meetings to gather the onboarding or implementation needs.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Lead onboarding engagements and provide overall project management guidance to clients’ contacts ranging from non-technical to technical elements (API integration for the purpose of transmitting manifest orders and requesting shipment tracking updates)
- Collaborate with internal sales executives and development team to streamline the process of onboarding clients in the areas of physical movements of parcels and lanes as well as technical data transmissions of orders/manifests
- Report client onboarding progress to business stakeholders providing transparency and improved client service
- Assist and work with internal technical onboarding lead to ensure all data mapping is done correctly and tested with clients’ data
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements, provide project status updates and perform remote training sessions
- Discuss requirements and explain functionality to both technical and non-technical individuals or groups

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of 1-3 years leading client projects and building excellent client experience by maintaining and nurturing customer relationships
- Comfortable with running projects calls and not shy to consistently follow up with project members to complete tasks at hand
- Enjoys drafting out business processes and constantly innovating processes
- Results orientated, self-starter and evidence of proactively driving projects to conclusion
- Excellent oral and written communication, customer interaction and management skills
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage and navigate through multi-faceted disciplines throughout Fleet Optics network
- Exceptional work ethic - willingness to take a hands-on approach to ensure all elements of the client request/project is delivered as specified.

- Obtained or working towards PMP or Project Management Certification

**WORKPLACE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

**Education**:

Licence/Certification:

- PMP (required)
